Ten or twelve years ago, when I started getting involved in online site building, seo and online businesses, and in the context of applying the online strategies to the local market, I started creating local websites for different niche markets.
The results I obtained back then were quite amazing for most keywords,

so this hasn’t changed much, but a bunch of tens if not hundreds of companies distributing
products and collecting money were created since, and online shopping in Lebanon is now
a flourishing activity, with hundreds if not thousands of website selling products online and
distributing through express courier companies who do pretty much all of the logistics.
Today, in spite of the Economic Crisis that has hit Lebanon as a storm, online shopping in
Lebanon is still flourishing. As the economic crisis was followed by a covid long confinement
where people had to stay at home for long period of time, online shopping has kept or has
even increased its momentum and a bunch of new online shopping sites has appeared and
continue to appear every day. Most of them provide the same brands and same products
again and again, but a small portion provides exclusive products and innovative brands and designs.
